Bishop Joshua spoke about how many people exchange Jesus for things that don’t profit them. “When life is going well, it is easy to thank God and praise Him. Unfortunately, when things go wrong, people turn their backs on God. Keep your eyes on God and don’t go to a broken cistern no matter what you’re going through” (Jeremiah 2:13). Jesus is the spring of living water, so drink from Him. When you go through tough times, be thankful to God, knowing that this is when you will grow the most.
