In His teachings, the Lord Jesus highlighted the separation that will occur on the Day of Judgment. To illustrate how those who belong to God will be set apart from those who do not, He used the example of sheep and goats. Though they graze together by day, the shepherd separates them in the evening—placing the goats on one side and the sheep on the other. Likewise, no one can hide behind a religious mask or the false appearance of serving God, because at the end of the ages, it will be unmistakably clear who truly belongs to Him.
