From a spiritual perspective, every human being is born in a state of corruption because of sin, which is why their natural inclinations are opposed to God. For this reason, a new birth is necessary, so that the person may receive a new nature, with desires, intentions, and interests that are aligned with the Kingdom of Heaven.
